Recollecting Your Parts in Reconciliation and the Eucharist

Join Souls & Hearts founders, Dr. Peter and Dr. Gerry, for a gathering before the 2024 Eucharistic Congress in Indianapolis this July.

Who? Dr. Peter and Dr. Gerry welcome current Resilient Catholics Community members and anyone else interested learning more about Souls & Hearts, our mission of human formation, and Internal Family Systems grounded in a Catholic understanding of the human person.

What? A gathering that will include didactics, experiential exercises, a taco bar supper, and time for fellowship. See proposed schedule below.

* When? 1:30 p.m. to 6 p.m. on Wednesday, July 17, 2024

Where? Holy Name of Jesus Catholic Church, 89 N. 17th Ave., Beech Grove, Indiana 46107

* Cost? $50 per person, includes event admission and dinner.

 

Tentative Schedule:

1:30 to 1:45 PM:  Opening prayer, introductions

1:45 to 2:15 PM:  Dr. Peter presents All of Your Parts in an Integrated Experience of Reconciliation

2:15 to 2:45 PM:  Experiential Exercise: Your Parts, Confession, and Reconciliation

2:45 to 3:00 PM: Debriefing from the experiential exercise and sharing in small groups

3:00 to 3:15 PM: Q&A from the tables

3:15 to 3:30 PM: Break and Divine Mercy Chaplet Prayer in the Church 

3:30 to 4:00 PM: Dr. Gerry presents The Inmost Self and the Parts in Communion: The Eucharist as the Sacrament of Unity

4:00 to 4:30 PM: Experiential Exercise: The Self-System and Communion with the Body of Christ

4:30 to 4:45 PM: Debriefing from the experiential exercise and sharing in small groups

4:45 to 5:00 PM: Q&A from the tables

5:00 PM to 6:00 PM: Taco Bar Supper, Social Hour, and video recordings of comments and testimonials. 

 

Fr. Boniface Hicks will be joining us as a special guest.

 

Wednesday Mass at Holy Name Parish is at 5:45 PM with confessions to follow.
